Dear Stitchfriends,

June 2010 Newsletter

We have been flat out with people in buying winter projects and dealing with orders from our mailout newsletter. If you didn’t receive yours let us know as it contains much more detail than these infrequent updates.

We are gearing up to go to Hamilton for The Embroiderer’s Guild Conference the weekend of July 10 /11. It is being held at Diocesan School and the Merchant Mall is in the Gymnasium. If you are in the area that weekend do come and see us.

The following are a few items which came in after the newsletter went to print that we really love and hope you will too.

Even though we are at the shortest day there is still the coldest part of winter to come. So curl up in front of the fire with one of these projects. There’s such a lot of sport to watch with the Football World Cup and the tennis at Wimbledon and then the Rugby and they are perfect for stitching to because you don’t have to watch every minute, just look up when there is a roar from the crowd and get the re-play.

A gorgeous row of shops that reeks of nostalgia. We love it because there is a needlework shop that looks a bit like ours (minus the flower boxes. We tried those and the flowers died)
