Maison Sajou

Maison Sajou was founded in 1828, by Jacques-Simon Sajou, with the object of selling articles for embroidery, tapestry, quipure, bobbin lace, crochet and weaving. He also launched many pattern albums, sought after to this day by collectors.

In 2005, Frederique Crestin-Billet, an ardent collector of vintage sewing items, decided to re-launch the Sajou name. Her idea was, not only to re-edit the collection of Sajou vintage albums, but also to offer a range of fancy works and quality haberdashery products.

We are pleased to be able to offer you a selection from the extensive catalogue of Maison Sajou. We have chosen items which we think will delight lovers of vintage collectible as well as the embroiderer who wishes to begin or add a collection of exquisite needlework accessories.
